Iman Ahmed is a first generation screenwriter from NYC who enjoys telling provocative stories about ambitious women. Iman is represented by Angela Nikas & Matt Nordsten at Buchwald and Aaron Lipsett at Heroes and Villains Entertainment.

Her pilot HARAM DOCTOR won the Hour Long Pilot Category in the 2024 Final Draft Big Break Screenwriting Contest. She’s adapting it into a feature in the Final Draft Fellowship Program with NY Film Academy.

She wrote and produced the off-Broadway play BANNED at Theatre Row in 2021. Iman participated in the Writers Guild Initiative workshop, where her one-act plays were selected to be read at the annual star- studded Writers Guild Initiative gala twice. Her personal live story about being a young caregiver was featured on The Moth podcast in 2021 to over a million listeners. She also produced two workshops with The Moth for artists.

Iman's a UCB Diversity Fellow who wrote on a sketch comedy team to sold out shows at the PIT theater. She’s also a graduate of N.Y.U.
