Iman Ahmed is a drama writer who enjoys telling provocative stories about ambitious women that flip expectations.
Her pilot HARAM DOCTOR won the Hour Long Pilot Category in the 2024 Final Draft Big Break Screenwriting Contest. She wrote and produced the off-Broadway play BANNED at Theatre Row in 2021. Iman participated in the Writers Guild Initiative workshop, where her one-act plays were selected to be read at the annual star- studded Writers Guild Initiative gala. Her personal live story about being a young caregiver was featured on The Moth podcast in 2021 to over a million listeners. She’s a graduate of N.Y.U.
